ARBAT Fest in Almaty

Excellent news: on August 24, the next, the ninth in a row ARTBAT FEST!

We have prepared for you a rich program:

– Young Kazakhstani artists will present their works, which from May are trained in the School of artistic gesture.

– The best works will bring artists from Russia, India, Azerbaijan, Switzerland.

– We will show the results of the artistic research „Portrait of a Modern Almaty“.

– Participants in the public art project will install about ten installations. We will see an interactive bridge from the BridA art group from Slovenia, the musical kinetic installation of the Swan by the Italian artist Marco Barotti, the works of the Kazakh architect Asel Eszhanova and the participants of last year’s Venetian Biennale Elena and Victor Vorobyov.
By the way, the theme of the current public art project is „Water Stream“. His curators – the French architect Simon Jacquemin and the Slovenian artist Martin Brikel Baraga – are sure that the water for Almaty is of particular importance. That is why all installations of the project will be somehow connected with the water element.
